About Me
My name is Marissa Rhodes and I am an Interior Designer and Photographer from Kalamazoo, Michigan. I love God, people, art and photography. My goal in life is to work each day to better the world around me in everything I do. I love staying active and enjoy running and being surrounded by nature. I am constantly staying busy with personal projects, getting involved in the community, and work. I love photography because it saves a moment in time. Seeing the joy of a newly married couple. Hearing the cries of a newborn. Or celebrating the success of a new graduate. Life is about enjoying the little things and the people that make it special, and I get the privilege of capturing that.

There is so much beauty in authenticity. That's why I don't focus on posed photos. I am here to capture moments. The moment you see your bride for the first time, or the bittersweet tears shed as a father gives her away. Holding your baby close or sending them off to college. These area all moments that you can't get back. They are as fleeting as they are good. And I want to help you save these precious moments. Forever.
Photography to me is the art of storytelling. We all have a story to tell. My goal is to tell yours; beautifully & authentically. Stories are what connect us. It is my passion to share them.
